David Wilcox (photo: Benko Photographics)We may have had twenty years to dream about Folks' 20th, but we still weren't quite prepared for the emotion, power, and beauty of last weekend's historic celebration. From the weather to the Wildflower, the river rock sculptures to the epic main stage sets (far too many to mention here), we're still overwhelmed by the joy and the memories. We can't wait to begin collecting and sharing some of these memories in the coming months...

(psst... Be sure to stick with us to the bottom of this email for your chance to win a pair of VIP tickets to Friday's Yonder Mountain String Band and Leftover Salmon show at Red Rocks...)

Your feedback has helped us reach number twenty, and it will undoubtedly make the 21st an even more unforgettable weekend of song. Take about 5 minutes to give us your thoughts, and you'll be entered in a drawing to win passes to the 2011 festival.

Then be sure to mark your calendar for the 2011 Folks Festival: August 19-21.

Folks Festivarians (photo: Jonathan Dowdell)Congratulations to the first official artist on the 2011 Folks lineup: this year's Songwriter Showcase winner Megan Burtt of Denver, CO. As you look to refresh your music collection in the coming months, we highly recommend you begin with some of this year's Songwriter Showcase finalists.

As well, our Campsite Challenge grand prize winner, "Camp Ultimate Winner," received a pair of onsite camping passes for 2011. All summer long, sustainable campsites won footwear, New Belgium beer, and Planet Bluegrass music through random drawings at all our festivals. Make your resolution now to enter the Campsite Challenge in 2011.
